Profile of the Month: Salma Enan

On Friday 7th of June I had the pleasure to meet with Salma again. We had previously met at an event located at the Haagse Hogeschool (HHS Career Event: Doing Good & Doing Business) about two weeks prior.

Graduated with a masters degree from IHE Delft Institute for Water Education on the topic of Water & Sustainable Development, it will not surprise you which SDGs she resonates most with:

Her biggest dream is to return to Egypt after gaining a decade of experience to give back to the community and environment. She aims to make a significant sustainable impact across the country. Since July 2020, she has been actively volunteering with the Habiba Community in Sinai, working on projects to improve local life standards and promote sustainability. This ongoing experience is part of her broader commitment to contributing to Egypt's overall development.

HHS Career Event: Doing Good & Doing Business

Organised by The Hague University of Applied Sciences on 27th of May, the event was running like a well-oiled machine at a beautiful location. It is meant for students, invited companies and lecturers. Students who are looking for a career in companies that aim to create a better world. For entrepreneurs who want to change the world for the better with a groundbreaking business venture.

ValuesMind got the opportunity to join the expert table at the CSRD workshop to discuss with students what the future job market will look like. It was a grateful, valuable and fun way to get a deeper understanding of what the bright minds of the future think and how they will act, based on their beliefs.
